The #symbol for communism a red star glares over the valley from the top of its 220 feet-high tower. The expansive, #spaceship-like building is straight out of an 1960’s science fiction movie.

Officially named the House-Monument of the #Bulgarian Communist Party, well known as "#Buzludzha Monument," it's attracts #explorers from across Europe an even visitors from the USA and beyond since the 1990s.

While hundreds  Out of all the abandoned #communist memorials scattered across the Balkans, few hold as much intrigue.
