This book is a very personal project that gathers, in its almost 300 pages, more than 150 illustrations, accompanied by the description of myths and legends I have studied for years. It describes mythological creatures from almost every ancient culture of the world.
I have not yet created an English version, it exists only in Italian (so far).
Here you will only find a small amount of the pages that constitute it, plus some of the illustrations.

It is divided into different sections depending on the type of creatures (spirits, monsters, hybrids, mages, fairies…).
For each creature there is a full-page illustration, while on the other side lays the description with technical data.
No one of these creature is invented. They all come from myth and folklore. I tried to gather as many legends as I could, not only considering my European background, but also addressing Asian, African and American tales.
I have also created a Figma prototype of how it would look once adapted digitally.
