Tom Mills & Crayfish

In a legendary assignment of one of RISD's most beloved drawing professors, Tom Llyon Mills, each student receives a crayfish in a box and is told to derive inspiration from it in a beginning set of drawings. Over the course of the next five or six weeks, the drawings are amended, edited and transformed in our weekly efforts. In the final drawings the original inspiration of the tiny crustacean seemed neither really here or there.
