Encepta is an innovative telecommunication company based in Burnaby, BC. Dreamland is the name of their brand new brainstorm space, a space of freedom and partnership. I had the honor to create the illustrations that defined the mood of Dreamland. The drawings were specifically designed to fit and compose the architecture and measurements of the room, interacting not only with each other, but also with real objects.
I opted for bold, but fluid and simple lines, and color combinations that are exotic, unexpected, and... strangely pleasing.
The three drawings above were designed to interact with specific objects in the room. The astronaut carries a fire extinguisher in his back. The helping hand is happening on the top of a TV, and the girl is running on a craft paper roll.
