Key Points of Design of the Aluminum Alloy Die Casting

The benefits of low processing costs, high production efficiency, high dimensional accuracy of the castings, good overall mechanical properties, easy mechanical automation of production process, and good surface quality is present in aluminum die casting china; but producing scratches, flow marks, and pores is easy during the casting process. Defects such as under-casting, dents, flaws, cracks, etc., which make the mechanical properties and appearance quality of die-castings deteriorate.

The structural designer needs to evaluate the plan to avoid the above problems in the die-casting molding process. To minimize the defects to a minimum by optimizing the structure and make a reasonable layout in the structural design of the parts, this must be done in advance in the die-casting part’s structural design.

The Aluminum Alloy Die Casting Forming Principle

Two basic methods of die casting process are hot and cold chamber die casting. By automatic or manual pouring device, the molten metal is poured into the press chamber in the cold chamber die-casting. To hydraulically press the metal into the cavity, the injection punch advances.

The pressure chamber is perpendicular to the crucible in the hot chamber die casting process and through the feed port on the pressure chamber, the molten metal flows into the pressure chamber automatically. To push the molten metal into the cavity, the injection punch moves downwards through the goose neck. The die-casting mold is opened after the molten metal is solidified, and to complete the entire die-casting forming process, the casting is taken out by the aluminum die casting manufacturer.
