En grade with the surface, this underground fortress seeks to create a barrier between a space for the digital and a space for the physical. Four walls of circulation surround a cube of program underground - these thin corridors of sculpted spaces serve as a primary means of circulation. Moving past the dense program of the center cube, you decend into an outdoor black box room 60 feet under the surface. Only here, within the context of the Brown campus yet at the same time very far away, is program waiting to happen.
