A theoretical revamping of my favourite Korean restaurant - Busan Korean Restaurant located in Majnu ka Tilla, Delhi. I did some minor rebranding work and redesigned their menu.
Brief - To make a visually appealing inclusive menu that promotes Korean culture
Identifying the customer - Most of the customers that visit this place are well versed with Korean culture. One can see this place bustling with students of nearby colleges or with Koreans living in the city. Though it is located deep in the market, it remains a popular hangout spot for many.
Societal factors concerning the food industry - Good design for the visually impaired is lacking, especially in the food/restaurant industry. With this design, I plan to tackle this issue and make the experience more inclusive.
Solution - A vibrant menu design with the use of Hangul, English and Braille with appropriate icons, imagery and description that communicate the foreign delicacies.
