The objective of this assignment is to take a classic mythological cryptid creature and use it as an inspiration to come up with our own with a scenery background that it would be comfortable to live in. I was inspired to take the basic structure of an Erymanthian boar and create a collaged hybrid mash of dinosaurs to create an Erymanthian Dino-hybrid. What really inspired me was the way of how the physique snout of the boar/warthog can be easily manipulated with the merge of the structure to the triceratops snout horn. The dinosaurs physique always fascinates me with how their structures and appendages make them similar to real monsters with sharp teeth, horns, spikes, etc. I chose to combine some of the strong and dangerous features of different dinosaurs to create my cryptid of the Erymanthian boar with the face structure of the boar with dinosaur features to make it powerful and dangerous in a wooded/forest environment.
