"Aerial Mermaid Moon"

This is a hand-drawn digital painting (Krita) of two figures: one is a personification of the moon transposed against a twilight sky, upside-down in an aerial hoop (lyra) with her face tilted towards the ocean. The other is a mermaid who is holding an aerial hoop while suspended in the water, and she strikes a similar pose while looking up at the moon. The water's surface makes a thin barrier between the two, who are forever separated.
