The chair that can be so much more.
A prototype of a multi-functional chair designed for mass production. The frame would be injection-molded, fiberglass reinforced polypropylene, and the rungs and seat panel would be outsourced, hard maple parts. The design process began with gaining a basic understanding of plastic step stools and chairs on the market, and investigating the many ways in which a chair may fulfill our needs--particularly in the bathroom. Exploration of this concept resulted in a room-saving solution that functions as not only a chair, but also as a towel rack and step stool. This chair is also designed to stack for large quantity shipping and efficient inventory storage.
