Bungie offers Halo-Themed weapons in Destiny 2 to Celebrate the 30th Anniversary

Destiny was first released in 2014. It’s a series of First-Person-Shooting games developed by Bungie. Bungie also released Halo back in 2001. Nowthe Destiny 2 is getting a few weapons from Halo. Microsoft once owned Bungie Inc. However, the company went independent after the Halo 3 launch event in 2007. But the studio left the gaming rights of Halo. After that, Bungie developed and released two games in the Halo series named Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach.

After the announcement of Reach, Microsoft established a new studio named 343 Industries. 343 Industries has released three full games, Halo 4 in 2012, Halo 5: Guardians in 2015, and Halo Infinite in 2021.

Destiny 2: Dares of Eternity Event

Bungie is introducing a new event in Destiny 2 named Dares of Eternity. These all weapons are part of the event. Most importantly, the event is also free for all players. The event also includes the fan-favorite Gjallarhorn rocket launcher. However, you will have to pick up the Anniversary perk to get the rocket launcher.

Destiny 2: Weapons

Halo-themed weapons are coming to Destiny 2, which includes the weapons based on Battle rifle and the Energy Sword from Halo. In short, Destiny 2 gets four new weapons from Halo. These weapons are stated below.
BXR-55 Battler:

BXR-55 Battler is a legendary tier weapon. It’s a burst fire pulse rifle. The rifle was first introduced in Halo 2. Now it has become a serious staple.
Half Thrust Swords:

The Half Thrust sword is also a legendary tire weapon. Halo enemies of high tier often use the same sword. Players could not use it until the launch of Halo 2. However, the Half Thrust Sword has become a series staple now. Now it’s available in Destiny 2.
The Retraced Path:

Retraced Path is a legendary-tier weapon from Halo. The rifle is also similar to the beam rifle from other Halo games.

The Forerunner:

Forerunner is an exotic-tier sidearm from Halo. It is a powerful pistol. The pistol was named Magnum in Halo.

Difference between Halo Weapons and Destiny 2 Weapons
Halo cosmetics and weapons are renamed in the Destiny 2 gameplay. Battle Rifle is named BXR-55 Battler, and Magnum is renamed Forerunner Exotic Sidearm. If you are a Destiny 2 player, you will get seven weapons for free.

Sparrow is designed to resemble a ghost with a Halo ring around it. Players will also get a shotgun from Marathon and a Claymore sword from Myth.
