City Acupuncture Branding

“City Acupuncture” is a regional project that is realized through the collaboration of associations and institutions from four countries of South East Europe with the aim of improving urban quality of life through small interventions and through cultural and architectural exchange.
The process of creating an intervention starts with a multidisciplinary analysis of the selected part of a city. The potential locations are marked on a map (either physical or virtual) usually by using pins. This recognizable graphic element became a part of the logo whose hexagon outline simultaneously represents the urbanistic component (such as an area on the map of the city) and its three-dimensional overlay (in the form of a silhouette of a cuboid).
From this basic logo, two derivatives were created for representing the events organized within the project: “City Acupuncture Forum” and “Trnjeraj”.
