The challenge of this project was to take the work from another artist or photographer and make an original version. In Photoshop, the application of color, creative mark making, and composition were used to speed-paint four color studies. The use of different color schemes, including monochromatic, complementary, split complementary, and tetrad schemes, were used to find artistic voice through experimentation. Using the work of another artist, a personal and unique interpretation of work was created, later deleting the original to be left with digital paintings.
