Design Process - Jack-o-Lantern Fall Festival

DESIGN PROCESS
The experiment was to do this with Creative Dailies done everyday on an object or item that is the same in repetition, but altered in any way. Just to keep that creative door open on a daily basis. This is my Design Process, chosen to be over a Halloween Icon; Jack-o-Lanterns.
The Moldboard for this Jack-o-Lantern Design Process is pretty simple, and fun. The color palette, of course, is warm fall leaves color. To give that feeling of pumpkin and orange leaves. In my research I found the product should be a poster for a Fall Carnival or Festival. So that is how I came up with taking inspiration from these event newsletters and informative posters. The layout used in these examples are just what I was thinking of when developing this idea.
On the final 3 Thumbnail sketches for the "Event Posters" I made each one different Jack-o-Lanterns with different boards and surroundings. I incorporated the city/ town that this "Fall Festival"  would be advertising and taking place in; as well as the date. I like using the pumpkin as a focal point icon that would connect the audience to Halloween.
This is my Final Design Process "Jack-o-Lantern Fall Festival" poster.
Using grain texture through out and self made texture on the boarder from a fluffy pillow. Self made texture as articulated in Photoshop. This overall illustrated image and poster was made from Adobe Illustrator - 2021.
The Final Design Process made into a Jack-o-Lantern Fall Festival for city of Hot Springs; turned into a Mockup. This mockup is intended to represent the down town architecture, where such poster would be in promotion of audience.
