Project HAPPY (Hunter Activity Program for Parent and Youth) is a non-profit local organization run by Hunter College of New York City. It aims to provide atheletic and recreational activities for children, youth, and adults with various types of disabilities, mental and/or physical.
I've volunteered for this program throughout my high school years, and it's been a memorable experience. It was a great community of participants and volunteers, and as I've become closer with people in the program, it felt less of an obligation and more of a good time to enjoy with my friends. It was a fun, great, happy, and open environment.
Unfortunately, I don't think their current logo and website evoke any of those characteristics mentioned. Therefore, I wanted to rebrand Project HAPPY as part of my brand identity project for Form + Communication class taught by Franz Werner in the fall.
