The prompt for this assignment was to create a travel brochure for a location of our choosing. This design for a travel brochure walks readers through an experience of two popular Alaskan cities: Whittier and Anchorage. The use of color, font, and repetition work to unite the panels of the brochure. The graphic elements, all hand drawn, draw the attention of the viewer and work to break up the large amount of text integrated in this design. The repetitive layout of the text maintains a consistency and makes the information easy to read. Overall, the design emphasizes the natural beauty found in Alaska without sacrificing valuable information that is needed for an effective travel brochure.
