Objective:
Create a magazine layout using a custom drop cap themed around the subject of your layout.
Process:
To start, I began with creating different layout concepts. Lawrence is a funk, pop-soul band. They have upbeat fun music that generates a large following in a younger demographic, and individuals who enjoy big band music. Because of this, I used a CMYK color palette emulating a pop art style. I chose to focus on eye catching images to direct the reader through the article.
