Honduran Independence Day Poster

Create a Poster based on a Holiday with the inclusion of a strange object
The strange object that had to be included was a stapler. I had a couple of ideas on how to include it like having a person using one in the actual poster or for it to simply be laying on it.

I took most inspiration from the third, where I would put extra items onto the poster itself to make it look like it was made by hand.
The image collage did present itself as something I could have more fun with, so I made that the main focus of the poster.
I had a great time looking for pictures to go in the poster. I included a photo from a national park, the island my family is from, the national bird, and a drawing of the national flower I made in Illustrator. Because I wanted all the images to be mostly visible I didn't include more as that would have made them harder to see.
The pictures were compiled in Photoshop.

Once basic invitational poster text was written out I decided that the blue expanse at the bottom left of the poster was too empty. So, I added light blue wrinkles to emulate wrinkled paper. Since the collage was meant to look like It had been ripped and placed in the center of the poster I thought it would be a good addition.
All that was left was to add the extra components and make a mockup.
