This is the mood board for my Urban Savage Collection. I was inspired by grafetti, Contemporary African art installation, and expressive markmaking found in the paintings of Cy Twombly and Basquiat. I wanted to maintain the energy of expressive raw marks in the collection. The pieces are designed to clash but work together in interesting ways as the art installation to the bottom left does in the mood board.
