Chaani was moving into a new home and was looking out for a fresh, stylish home that is an abundance of positive vibes and a meditative feel. Located on the palm jumeriah facing the vast seat for a view, i took on the home to reflect the sea with a hampton's style of interiors. The home is filled with an abundance of stylish furniture with natural textures and colours of the sea
Chaani's old sofa was a perfectly durable piece of furniture with the filling intact. The only concern was the fabric which was not removable or washable since the filling is duck feather. All it needed was a change of 100% cotton upholstery fabric to transform into a brand new piece that managed to look much better and comfortable than its original self.
I upcycled a bulky, heavy, black center table that pulled energy from the space before into a white beach themed resin art on top which not only let the energy flow through the home but also made it into a very unique piece of art that any client will never have the heart to throw away.
We saved another piece from the landfill. I saw so much love in this dresser that was gifted to chaani from her best friend. I matched the dresser to the current theme of pinky paradise for her daughter Pari by upcycling it to a clean white finish that can further reinstate its position as a canvas for the growing girl.
Natural, handmade and soft textures dominate the living and dining area while the lights add their charm to the ambience of the space.
