Gulaab is a cushion cover made during my sewing course. My brief was to use interfacing fabric called Buckram, a stiff-finished heavily sized fabric of cotton or linen used for interlinings in garments, for stiffening in millinery, and in bookbinding. I used the property of stiffening and used origami technique to create the flower form.
