*For the carving project of Wood I class, we were assigned to create vessels out of bass wood. I drew inspiration from bat and the intriguing inside/outside space it creates while moving the wings. 

I first split the wood panel into quaters, carved each part individually and reassembled the four pieces vertically to achieve the "vessel" form.
