INTRODUCTION
Play it Loud! is an initiative hosted by JMI, which aims to contribute to a more equal and diverse youth and music sector. Play it Loud! welcomes all underrepresented youth to express themselves, take ownership, express freely through music and participate actively in local and European democratic and civic spaces, thus contributing to shape a more inclusive society. Play it Loud! uses music and creative expression to engage and empower young people who experience or have experienced discrimination because of their gender identity and expression, empowering them to challenge inequalities, care for each other better, work in solidarity, learn together and advocate for their rights. BRIEF
The brief required a refreshed logo and an accompanying visual language, which can be used to inspire and excite young people to become a part of the JMI family. Firstly, the visuals had to represent a variety of musical instruments. Secondly, the visuals had to be youthful, both in application and expression. Lastly, it had to communicate inclusivity and creativity.
