A01: Graphic Translation
Even though I had a hard time connecting to this project, I really like some of my finished products. The axe was not one of my original forms. I started with two types of shells. The one shown, and one that was conch-like. I was having a hard time with translating the conch-like shell into the different variations (Geometric, Gestural, 50/50). After lots of struggle, I decided to chose a whole new form and thats when I found the axe. In doing so, I was able to understand the assignment a little more and I feel that switching forms, helped me improve. The 50/50 for both forms are my favorite.
