CREDIF - GENDER INEQUALITY PREVENTION CAMPAIGN

A common objection to engaging with men and boys is the skepticism around their willingness to change their attitudes and behaviors, as they are often seen as beneficiaries of gender inequalities.
Therefore, our strategy must emphasize the dual nature of gender stereotypes, highlighting that the privileges men receive in patriarchal and sexist societies often come at a cost for specific groups of men. This aspect can be leveraged to promote awareness of the essential benefits of fostering relationships based on mutual respect and equality, rather than fear and domination, between men and women.

Here's a FACT: "You are not a man." Once uttered, this insult can escalate to violence. Challenging the Tunisian male identity is considered a grave offense, as it takes very little to shatter this delicate construct. Being a man is an ideal that one must strive to embody, prove, test, and preserve.

Concept: In its definition, 'man' refers to a human being, considering the qualities and weaknesses inherent to human nature. It is synonymous with 'individual.' This perspective acknowledges that men have the capacity to redefine what it means to be a man, and there is nothing normal, necessary, or natural about associating masculinity with violence or sexism.

Masculinity is truly attained through respecting women :
Tagline: BE A REAL MAN.
