THE STICKER PROJECT
SKETCHES
When I was first drafting, I thought about doing something for the environment, Christmas, or Health. But those are all overused and already common among stickers. So I decided to combine some interesting graphic approaches, animals...but as food.
THE JOURNEY
The picture below is my first draft, as you can see, there is a lot of work to be done. There needed to be a cohesive feeling
CAT: CARMEL MEOW-CHIATO
The image on the left is my draft of Cat/Carmel Macchiato Drink. The image on the right is my finale version
When I created my draft, I felt that it was dull, the color was flat, and the strokes were off. I spent a lot of time fine tuning and increased the saturation of the pinks, and greens, added a tongue for the cat's personality, curved the wording, added the carmel drops (after all it is a Carmel Meowchiato).

I then went back and made sure there was no stray anchor points and marks.

SNAKE PIE
When starting this design, I knew the best was to make the snake look as close to a pie as possible it to make the whole design using circles. Everything shown here has been created out of the use of the ellipse tool and altered with exceptions.
The first draft of the snake (shown on the right) was good but not great. The strokes were hard to nail as they were too distracting or did not present the detail I needed to convey.

When I was editing it up to be my final version, I was told to increase the strokes for the body to create a separate visual, but then got rid of the strokes for the scales. I also adjusted the pie crust and tried to curve it along the pan. The shadows show that light is coming in from the left.

Cinnamon Roll Snail
This was probably the most difficult one for me to approach because it is pretty simple but to make it look like a vectored snail and vectored cinnamon roll combined, I needed to add the RIGHT details.
When I first started, I actually used the swirl tool. Can I get a "tacky"!?

Then once I got some feedback from some peers, the mentioned that I needed to add some glares/light details to the frosting to help it look less flat. So I ditched to swirl tool and created this with the curvature tool for the swirl and added a circle behind it.

The frosting was filled and has an opacity of 63% which allows you to see the cinnamon swirl how you would naturally. Strokes where added as well as shadows and cute hearts.
