Square Space is mainly a gym in Canada. The name " Square Space " came from the size of the gym. This gym was a previous logo but the owner wasn't utterly satisfied with the logo, he told me that the previous icon is not carrying any sorta meaning that's why I was asked to come up with something meaningful and clean.
Since, this is a gym logo so I my first thought was to add something which means gym, and to give it a square shape so that the icon and the shape seems so meaningful with the concept and the name as well. Here as you can see, I designed the logo with a combination of square space, gym equipment & withe the first letter of the name.
