Yahualli
ceramics 2007

A circle is a set of points that are equidistant from the center, it represents cycles and continuity. This bowl is divided in three pieces, allowing the user to break the continuity by separating the parts.
Yahualli means circle in nahuatl, the native language of the aztecs.

Ondana
printed dust 2010

Onadana is a ring inspired by ocean waves at a beach. One side of the ring represents the waves getting to the seashore, the other shows how they contract and return into de deepest parts of the ocean.
The 3D modeling of the ring was made in Solide Edge and Autodesk Inventor.
Afterwards, a prototype was made by a ZCorp 3D Printing machine.
