CHRISTMAS PACKAGING DESIGN

This is one project for VGT 201 l PACKAGING DESIGN. This project is to create packaging in conjunction with the Christmas celebration.

PACKAGING BACKGROUND

1. Season : Christmas Celebration
2. Christmas background : The festival is celebrated by christians on the 24th day of December in commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
3. Packaging type : Food (chocolate) - Chocolate is found in Christmas traditions around the world.
4. Target audience : Adult and children

Objective

1. To make the Christmas celebration more fun with the interactive packaging collection
2. To make the product enviromentally friendly
3. To make packaging in the form of gifts to be given during the Christmas celebration which is considered a tradition for the celebration

ELEMENTS

1. Materials : Cardboard cylinder paper tubes packaging
2. Cardboard description : Made from100% recycled kraft paper raw material through rolling and gluing to tubes with a metal mold with different diameters, after the glue in the tubes are dried then cut them into the specific length.
3. Shape : Cylinder
4. Packaging size : 30 ml

COLOUR INSPIRATION

1. Red : The apple on the three of heaven, the Holy berry is said to represent the blood of Jesus

2. White : Purity and peace in western culture, snow, white paper wafers to decorate the tree of heaven

3. Green : Evergreen plants, such as Holy, Ivy and Mistletoe
