The Situation
Continental Engines came to us with a need to update their brand. While the company had evolved into a cutting-edge custom engine solutions powerhouse, the visual identity did not reflect that. They wanted something that was more meaningful and less complicated: a better reflection of their company.

The Solution
The solution was a logo that was clean, simple, and recognizable. By combining the first initial "C" with an abstract design of a piston inside of a combustion chamber, paired with a forward-leaning, industrial-style word mark, I was able to hit all the high-level points on the brief. While the red was pulled as a callback to their previous logo, it was updated to be more vibrant and modern in an effort to differentiate it from their competitors.
