ADCOVER - TFG for benito company
This final degree project carried out at the ELISAVA university, was done in collaboration with BENITO company.
The project consists in developing a furniture product for the company Benito, one of the most important companies in the furniture sector. The only limitations of the project are to develop a product of the same family of products that they produce.
They can be luminaries, street furniture, parks, sewer covers... From here, each student is free to choose a product and develop it. It must be taken into account that this product has to be suitable for any city, since Benito works internationally and exports products all over the world.It's important that the product brings innovation.
WHAT
ADCOVER is a class B-125 manhole cover according to UNE EN 124:2015. This cover consists of 4 parts, one of which will be customizable on request.
The customizable part will be manufactured with 3D printing using ASA filament as material. This has the advantage over other filaments such as resistance to UV rays and water resistance, on the other hand, we must also highlight its excellent mechanical properties and the possibility of recycling it.
Depending on the customer's requirements, this piece can be made in two colors or in multicolor.

On the other hand, the remaining 3 pieces will be manufactured with ductile cast iron using the sand mold injection process.
The purpose of the product is to promote goods, services and cultural events or any other promotion that the customer wants to hire.

Possibilities offered by adcover:
-Promote products/services, as in the case of the new Iphone SE (2020).
-Promote theater performances, as in the case of Lohengrin (2020).
-Promote titles achieved by soccer clubs, as in the case of Futbol Club Barcelona becoming champion of the 18-19 league.
-Promote local markets such as the Boqueria. This includes a QR code, when it is scanned a map appears with all the stores that the market offers.
