This project is a generative series that seeks to explore spatial dynamics of K-d trees. It was envisioned as a procedural mechanism to partition and then dynamically unfold the space created by this dicing. The theory was that each iteration would reveal a new form and structure, with an infinite amount of possibilities.

Each piece starts from one of several pre-chosen initial conditions (a first partition), and then the system runs by iterating through eight different parameters, which control everything from number of partitioning iterations, material assignments and distributions, and animation parameters.

This series is currently in development, expected to reach completion within the next few weeks, as the material themes are finalized.
