Loft Palazzo is a project reimagines the typology of conventional loft while adapting it to the specific needs of people who work remotely. If lofts are traditionally undetermined column less spaces which result from an adaptation of a manufacturing typology to living, our project aims to hybridize living and manufacture in a space that combines flexibility with specificity. This project introduces an algorithmic typology which aims to automate the research and design process. This system could also be adaptive to more complex conditions. With the innovation of multiple latest computational tools such as machine learning, computer vision and genetic algorithm, this algorithmic typology could communicate with existing context and provide a ratinoal and sustainable solution towards future automational architecture.
