For my Metals I final, we were instructed to make an object that measures the same in the X, Y, and Z axis. While doing studies with the aluminum plate, I was inspired by the pattern of many drilled holes, and the material's ability to remain rigid. I was also very interested in the technique of tapping and threading and therefore decided to make a cube that alluded to the image of driving quickly past a clustered forest.
