When making this magazine spread with a fold out page, since I was designing it for GQ magazine, I wanted it to look stylish and casual. The colors used compliment the apparel the guys are wearing in the photo. The second magazine spread is a traditional hip-hop spread, as seen in the hip-hop magazines like the Source. I went with a more urban, casual feel, intentionally less professional than the GQ magazine. The content on both is the same, but differences in the layouts and style provide a unique feel.
