This tea package was my final project for my Prototyping studio class, Junior year at the Rhode Island School of Design, Fall 2013.

My goal was to design a package that would be with you throughout the entire tea-drinking experience, from opening the package to disposing the wet tea bag. I wanted to find a middle ground between premium, high-end tea and cheap bags. This tea would be the quality of premium loose-leaf tea, but it would come in a tea bag for convenience. It would be found in a premium teashop, like Teavana, or in a higher-end supermarket.

With inspiration taken from Japanese tea ceremonies and Swedish "fika" traditions, I designed this individual tea box for moments when you will sit down and enjoy a cup of good tea.
