Chair rehabilitation project
The project was about designing a new chair by using an old lounge chair frame from our university.  I had the opportunity to design the seat and the backrest. My lounge chair was created to reflect the spirit of Bauhaus. During the Bauhaus, seating furnitures were extremely tangible means for designers to express themselves in an innovative, functional and creative way.
I bent two stainless steel onto the old chair frame to ensure the angle of the backrest and the seat.The total effect of my final plan is determined by airness, lightness and stability at the same time.
