Dionysian pilots have been sailing for 50 million years to the infinite ends of the universe. Wine is the fuel of flight, the friend of solitude, the carnival, the spirit of Dionysus. He will die without it. The dionysian pilot's destination is not in the distant stars, but in the whirling hop, in the raised cup. When we looked up into the sky, a Dionysian pilot flew past an exploding supernova, the brightest rays of the universe making alcohol look like gold.
