A letter opener. Using specially selected defective cement tile partially and metal as basic materials, the whole is composed of three different lengths and different forms of cylindrical blocks. It can be used to open letters or do some simple cutting work.

手工水泥花砖虽然是一种低耗能的环保产品，但在生产过程中却也会沉积许多因手工与材质的不可全控而产生的次品或废料，我们希望通过设计师对其进行再生利用设计，用当代的设计审美与良好的工艺重新创作出拥有新的功能与美学的物品，让我们在最大程度实现生产线中的废料循环利用。

The desiqn and development of"RETILE-PART" series product is an important project for NANCHOW in this period which is the exploration on the production of cement tile,environment and design.
Even though cement tile is a kind of low enerqy-consumption green product.there are inevitable defective tiles and waste in the process of production due to the handcraft and material factors. We hope these tiles and waste can be turned into materials for reuse and transferred into good and beautiful products by our designers,in order to achieve maximum recycling of waste.
