Book Cover Re-Design of Haruki Murakami's surrealist novel, 1Q84.
This book is a surrealist epic with themes of dystopia, alternate realities and lost time. I wanted to represent a feeling of being lost between more than one world and the central symbol of the moon. Two different characters' realities merging and intersecting is represented across the three volumes. The three covers are designed as one composition.
