I hosted a block printing workshop for Detroit Month of Design which was sponsored by Foot Locker. Through this workshop,I instructed the technique of block printing and bringing handprinted material onto a variety of products including sneakers. The hands-on method of block printing creates patterns, stamps and textile designs that have been used throughout fashion history. Each participant had the chance to translate their story and experiences through block printing and took their designs as a further form of self expression.
