The focus of this piece is vibrant colors and the contours and lines of the figure; therefore, a face was not included, the details of which would have been a distraction. The figure sits carelessly on the edge of a simple line that could represent anything. This carelessness reflects the vibrant, carefree feel of the bright color scheme.

The strong horizontal line mirrors the sharp lines in the contour of the figure. Instead of choosing blended value changes for this piece, harsh light to dark changes were chosen. Exaggerations of the analogous color scheme of yellow to red were added, disregarding a gradual change in color.
