The focus of this project was to create an immersive trailer for the game "Thousand Lives" by Mario "ehmprah" Kaiser, the creator of "Core Defense".
A game as beautiful and unpredictable as life. Navigate what fate throws at you and explore what a life well lived can mean in this minimalist roguelite role playing life simulation. Life is wild and then you die – a thousand times over.

After gaining a solid understanding of the overarching story of the game a story board was developed, which was adjusted throughout development. The idea behind the trailer is the view of one's own birth from the perspective of the new-born in a minimalistic approach.
The trailer is a hand-drawn animation with over 300 single frames created in Photoshop and later edited in After Effects.
