Use of mix media technics in pattern designing.
Brief-
The brief of the project was to create pattern designs. I started my ideation process with the help of mood board where I tried to collect my ideas and the possible design styles that I could use for designing them.
1. Memphis pattern
For this design first I drew dog foot prints on paper, then taken to the photoshop and edited and added some color corrections to create a pattern.
2. Dot pattern
for the third design I first I illustrated the dot on paper then photographed it and then in photoshop edited and created a seamless pattern.
3. Geometric pattern
For this pattern I created some geometric shapes photographed it and then edited in photoshop added colors and images to created a seamless pattern.
4.Mosaic Pattern
For this pattern I worked on bauhaus pattern in Illustrator then in photoshop added images and work upon other design aesthetics for final design.
The project was very interesting learnt about pattern designing, types of pattern and how it works on different objects In this particular project, I learned how to create seamless patterns in photoshop and illustrator by using these mixed media techniques.
