MULTIFUNCTIONAL CHAIR
In this project, I applied artistic methods in the product formation of sustainable furniture in a given context. This was one of my first furniture building experiences where I was introduced to machinery which helped me understand basics of woodwork such as its strengths and weaknesses.
One of the ideas was to discover the difference between mass production of furniture and custom made ones. By conducting this project I was able to embrace quality aspects, aesthetics and dynamics of environment behind furniture.
The design of custom made chair was inspired by massiveness of furniture giants like IKEA, but comparing to conventional products, the final product was fabricated on eco-friendly standards. The style of this chair was conceived to inculcate different functions in the chair such as it can be used as night table, decoration surface along with various other uses of it.
