A final portfolio from my Type 1 class, 2020. These Projects introduced me to the science behind type, creating harmony within words using the qualities within the typeface to accentuate the design and create a compelling visual. The first project involved creating a monogram of my name, the second, a dissection of the anatomy of type, and the last project was creating a custom font built around a pattern which we found in our everyday lives and then converted to digital form.
