New drawing I finished: REQUIEM FOR THE SERPENT, pencil on paper 11”x8.5”.
I finished this drawing exactly on the new moon of Scorpio which happens today. This holds a great deal symbolism and meaning for me. According to the teachings of Kabbalah, the month of Scorpio has the power to bring the final redemption to humanity, also known as the age of MESSIAH- which is NOT a person but a state of being.
The age of MESSIAH is where humanity en mass establishes a DIRECT relationships with Source Creator and not relying on false “middle men” to do it for them because that is slavery.
The most important aspect of this connection to Source Creator is by binding the serpent within ourselves, as it is expressed through our own negativities: fear, doubts, shame, blame and slavery to an outside authority.
The humans are depicted as space explorers, which represents humanity’s tendency to look OUTSIDE of them for the truth.
This artwork represents the victory of humanity over the primordial sinister forces of the serpent that has been operating behind the scenes and controlling our lives for far too long. No more.
May this inspire all of us to attain the final victory within and also en mass and bring the age of MESSIAH to all. Happy new moon of Scorpio!
