I was invited to partner with Amazon to create a series of artworks to celebrate Hispanic and Latino communities, inspired by this year’s theme Celebremos (Let’s Celebrate).

It’s awesome to have my work reaching so many people and it was inspiring to think of all identities, traditions and cultural expressions that shape the Hispanic and Latinx community while working on this project.
I created a lot of characters to represent different Amazon sectors (Audible, Books, Prime, Fresh, Handmade, Music, etc) and that would also represent Latinx people and culture. Here are some sketches (including some unused characters) and a few color tests.
I also created a series of textures and patterns that were used in different formats.
The patterns were inspired by Latinx arts and crafts.
