While some will say that design is about usability and aesthetic, and they’re not wrong, I believe that this is a rather surface level take on design. I believe design has the ability to create a meaningful experience for the user, going far beyond the limitations of its environment. I want the users of my designs to feel connected, to identify with their aesthetic and to feel like they can see a part of themselves in them. I want them to create impactful change; to call into question their systemic way of life.
