I spent a lot of time to build chair mock ups in true scale. Through this mock up development, I explored how steel rod and plywood work synergistically. I decided to use triangulation principle to make stronger chair structure that can be sit down. This project taught me how to bring out the best of such thin materials in building this chair. This minimalist and yet an elegant cafe chair has achieved a good balance between aesthetic and strength form while embracing its material synergy.
